this is my favorite visit ^^ Ogilvy…oh ogilvy hehehe

Tiba di Ogilvy, kami masuk ke presentation room dan mulai mendengarkan mereka membahas mengenai Ogilvy. Yang membawakan presentasi adalah Dian Abubakar n Erika Mulyadi. Most of us didn’t know about Ogilvy before. Their presentation look very professional, fluently, clearly and all of us really amazed by them. Their performance very elegant, not really formal but like having aura or ‘kharisma’ something like that.

Ogilvy is international PR consultant agency, based in New York. They have 42 offices across 39 countries. From the very beginning, David Ogilvy, as founder, intended to have a different kind of company >> “the most local of the international and the most international of local”.

Their job is to make advertising that sells, and the advertising that sells best is advertising that builds brands. They practice what their preached. Over the past 50 years, Ogilvy has helped to build some of the most recognizable brands in the world: American Express, Sears, Ford, Shell, Barbie, Pond's, Dove, and Maxwell House among them, and more recently, IBM and Kodak.

Berdasarkan research yang telah dilakukan dimana target diketahui tidak bisa membaca. Maka cara penerapan adalah dengan mengarang lagu tentang mencuci tangan dengan sabun. Dan ibu-ibu mengajarkan anak-anaknya pola hidup sehat seperti yang telah diterapkan sebelumnya.

Several campaigns: kampanye menurunkan angka kematian ibu hamil paling tinggi di Asean >> suami siaga – standby your woman.. gerakan saying ibu – siap antar jaga.

Pay attention for the wife. Kampanye arti kecantikan sejati (campaign for real beauty)

Ogilvy juga membantu membangun image mizone yang dkabarkan megnadung bahan pengawet berbahaya dst
